America's Choice:

September 1st- Labor Day Holiday- No School
September 2nd- First AR Period begins. All first grade students will begin bringing home Accelerated Reader books to read towards their AR goals. The goals have been set for 3 points each. This means that students will need to read and pass at least 6 books at 100% to meet their goals. Please visit your Home Connect site to monitor your child's progress. The first AR Period ends October 10th.
September 16th- Early Release- School lets out two hours early. Please make arrangements.
September 25th- PTA Open House- 6:30 PM. Stop by to meet your child's teacher, find out what they are doing in school, and learn more about our PTA.

Accelerated Reader- Please make sure that your child is reading over the summer in order to be ready to begin AR next school year. If you would like to check your home library to see if we have an AR quiz, please go to:
