Boy's Leadership Academy Vision

BLA is a mentoring program for young boys in grades 3, 4 & 5.  The club is designed to enhance self-esteem, academic performance, and social and cultural awareness amongst students at Birney Elementary School.

The students will meet twice a week to participate in team building activities and address issues that concern them, both individually and collectively.  Each month they will have a theme that helps to guide group discussions and activities.  All activities will be facilitated and supervised by teachers at Birney Elementary.

The curriculum for BLA is created by Birney teachers to provide academic support and leadership training.
