 My name is Kelley Zurkuhlen and I am very excited to be Blackwell’s new ESOL teacher.  The last six years I have been teaching Kindergarten so it will be a big change for me to teach all grade levels.  Over the last year I have been working very hard on my ESOL endorsement and am excited to use the new practices I have learned. 

I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky and have lived in Georgia for six years.  I live in Acworth with my husband Todd and two dogs, Lex and Allie.  I became an aunt in January to twin boys, Jonathan and Jackson and in March I will become an aunt again to either a niece or a nephew. My family is growing every year!

Some things that I enjoy doing are cooking, reading, swimming at the pool and watching TV.  I am excited that school is starting and can’t wait for the new adventures this year holds.
