Quote of the Month: "It takes teamwork to make a dream work"

The Brumby Guidance Curriculum, in accordance with the Cobb County Guidance and Counseling Program, is designed to prepare students for the challenges of living in a diverse and technological society.  By using a curriculum focused on academic, personal/social, and career development, Brumby counselors develop and implement lessons to foster student growth in these areas.  As a part of the guidance program counselors guide students through their educational experience and assist them with their future plans with the use of developmentally appropriate classroom guidance lessons.  Individual and group counseling are available to students in the areas of anger management, peer relations, behavior modification skills, self-motivation, and divorce/separation.

In addition to working with students, Brumby counselors also work with teachers, parents, and administration in helping to ensure and promote student success.  Brumby's guidance department has been fortunate to be able to provide various programs to benefit students and their families- Operation School Bell, Thanksgiving Baskets, Giving Tree, and Spring Baskets.  We also want to strongly encourage you to visit the Cobb County Guidance Services Web site for many wonderful  resources.

If you have any questions regarding the guidance program, please feel free to give us a call at 770-916-7070.
