Shopping on the Internet
Introduction:
You have been given $1,000.00 to spend for a vacation in St. Augustine, Florida
during spring break. You may purchase clothes and items you might need for
your trip with some of the money. You must spend the other money on
entertainment and sights in St. Augustine. You must come within $10.00 of
spending the $1,000.00 without going over.
Task:
You will make a list of items that you purchase and the cost by using the
internet sites listed below.

Activities:
1. Go to the S:\ drive; Lab-Excel folder; Open the 4th Budget Document; Go
to File, Save As and save this spreadsheet to your Home Directory.
2. Use the Excel Budget Sheet to record your purchase, the cost, and where you purchased it from. It will automatically give you the Total Amount Spent at the bottom of your spreadsheet so you can keep up with your money.
Evaluation:
Print your Excel Budget Sheet. Write your name and your teacher's name at
the bottom of the sheet. Give the Budget Sheet to Mrs. Harris to check how
well you spent your money.
