Chinese New Year

Introduction:  Chinese New Year is celebrated in an elaborate and colorful way.  Two expressions are:
GUONIAN - passed through the old year
BAINIAN - congratulate the new year
Chinese New Year is celebrated on the first day of the first moon of the lunar calendar.  It usually falls between January 21 and February 19.
Each new year corresponds to an animal zodiac.
