Lincoln: A Photobiography is a biographical story of Abraham Lincoln, our nation's sixteenth president. This story is told with numerous photographs of Abraham Lincoln during his lifetime.

Task:

Abraham Lincoln is one of our country's most famous presidents because of his work to end slavery and to reunite the United States during a difficult time. As you read the story and complete the activities, think about how he changed the history of the United States.

5. How did Abraham Lincoln travel and communicate in the 1800's?

Evaluation:

Make a timeline of important dates in the life of Abraham Lincoln. Be sure to include his birth, marriage, election to the Presidency, and death.

Conclusion:

Abraham Lincoln envisioned a unified America and helped direct the Civil War which brought about the end of slavery in the United States. Abraham Lincoln rose from a simple life to become one of the most powerful leaders in the United States.
