Our counseling team is excited about the school year!
Lucille Carlisle is the counselor for second and fifth grade
students. Dana Gillilan is the counselor for first and fourth
grade students. Laura Hawes is the counselor for Kindergarten and
third grade students.
Our guidance program consists of teaching
developmental lessons in each classroom every other week, conducting
small groups for students needing extra support, and meeting with
students individually as needed. Classroom guidance lessons
are based upon the Cobb County School Counseling Curriculum, and
include these core areas: personal/social development,
academic development, and career development. We also work
cooperatively with school administrators, staff members, parents,
and community agencies to support student success. |
