Our Slow Pitch Softball team finished 2nd in Area two and will compete in the State Invitational Tournament in Woodstock on Friday at 11:00 am and will play Lassiter in the first game. The Tournament goes Friday and Saturday. This is Campbell's first time to state since 2001.
***TRYOUTS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS EXPECTING TO MAKE THE VARSITY TEAM. IF YOU FAIL TO ATTEND YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR A SPOT ON THE TEAM.
Tryouts will be held over the course of 3 days. During that time the players will be rated on their ability to perform on the field offensively and defensively. During this 3 day period, tryouts will be held twice a day. The morning session will consist of fielding drills, base running, game strategy, and hitting drills. The evening sessions will consist of scrimmages and batting practice.
