Pound That Rock

Beside the field house sits a very big rock that is there for the sole inspiration of the football team. The Campbell Spartans have a new team mantra, "Pound that Rock". They are borrowing the slogan from the 2003 Superbowl Champions, the Tampa Bay Bucs. The coaches are trying to instill the daily work ethic to "crack the rock" by chipping away at it on a regular basis. Eventually we believe the team will see the results of their hard work because eventually the rock will crack! As you watch the Spartans enter the stadium for the game, they will pass by the field house and  while being reminded of all their hard work as they pound the rock along the way.
