According to standards set by the state of Georgia, the media center must have flexible scheduling.  This means that no class can have a set time to come to the media center. Each teacher must come to the media specialist and sign up for a media center time. There  is not a set amount of time that a class can spend in the media center; the teacher and media specialist plan the lesson together and determine the length of time that the lesson will need. This time can vary weekly, if needed.
