School Georgia Performance Standards require all students to read a minimum of 25 grade-level appropriate books a year! Reading as many books as you can during the summer will give you a head start on this requirement. Make sure you keep track of the titles and authors you read. Summer reading assignment: Choose several authors from the appropriate grade level list. You may read any NOVEL written by any of the authors on your grade’s list! Your task: For each book that you read, complete the book Talk questions found at the bottom of the 8th grade list..
