Clubs and Activities at Daniell Middle School


In an effort to develop the whole child Daniell offers many opportunities for students
to participate in a variety of clubs and activities.
 

Key Builders
 

The Key Builders meet regularly on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:15 AM. Their service/school projects include:
  • Canned food drive to benefit MUST ministries - Nov. 15-19
  • Serve holiday meals at MUST ministries
  • Baskets for terminally ill children
  • Red Ribbon Week
  • School guides for orientation, Open House, parent conferences, and 5th grade visits to Daniell
  • Muscular Dystrophy Drive                            

Junior Beta Club
 

The Junior Beta Club meets every other Thursday afternoon. It's open to all 7th and 8th graders with at least a 3.33 grade point average. Their service/school projects include:
  • Collecting and cutting box tops and soup labels for education
  • Recycling

Student Forum
 

The Student Forum is comprised of elected officials and homeroom representatives. They meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Their service/school project include:
  • Adopt-a-Family for the holidays through MUST ministries
  • Morning announcements
  • Student sponsored events throughout the year

Science Olympiad
 

Science Olympiad participants meet every Thursday morning at 9:00 AM. The county competition will be on Saturday, December 4 with the intention to place in order to go to the regional competition will be on February 19.
 

Odyssey of the Mind

Exact meeting and competition dates are to be determined.

 

Intramurals
 

Intramurals take place Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 8:30 AM. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are encouraged to participate.

Daniell Book Club
 

Students meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning in the Media Center. They select a common title of interest to read and discuss.
