       B) Compare and contrast the weak mayor-council, the strong mayor-council,
            and the council-manager forms of city government [pp. 572-573].

Today, class began with the completion of the One-Pager from Friday.  After students presented their documents, the remainder of class was spent reviewing for tomorrow's quiz.
 
After the practice writing test this morning, students had little time in class today.  The entire class was taken up with the completion of a quiz over Georgia's government.
 
Students were given the Midterm Review during class today.  They also had their government quizzes returned to them. 

The majority of class was spent competing in the National Geography Bee.
 

The entire class was spent today completing the National Geography Bee.  Winners will compete in a school level bee next Monday.
 
Today we discussed socks...cotton socks.  We discussed the impact of the cotton gin on Native Americans, white Georgians, and African slaves. 

Students were given a progress report so that they could check their grade with their own records before the grading period is over.
