Students continued watching "Race to Freedom" today.

 

After completing the film "Race to Freedom," students began working on a Civil War Magazine.  This magazine project will be a major grade for the Civil War unit.
 
Although today was an early release day, students were able to begin working on their Civil War Magazine project.  Students were given a Research Packet and used computers to gather data.
 
Students completed their today Research Packet in class.  After completing the research, students began writing the articles that will eventually be included in the Civil War Magazine
 
Class began today with an introduction to the Microsoft Publisher software.  They then spent the remainder of class using the program to begin constructing their Civil War Magazine projects.
