REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUMMER READING

- Students will be tested on their “LA reading book” in their LA class on the second week of school
 - 6th Grade Social Studies classes will have in class activities related to their required reading book
- 6th Grade Science, 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and Science classes will turn in a book card the second week of school with the following information included:

Students must fill out a card for the "Social Studies" and "Science" book. Students must select from the list of books for the grade level you are entering this fall.  Cards will be taken up on the second week of school. Follow the reporting instructions carefully.

  1. Use only 5” x 8” white lined index cards.
  2. Use only one card for each book.
  3. Complete your work neatly. You may use a computer to type the information, print it, and then you may paste it to the card.
  4. Have a parent sign all cards in order to receive full credit.

 

On the front of the card include the following:
