Welcome to the Dodgen Media Center from Ms. Klodnicki,  media specialist, Ms. Moore, parapro, and the invaluable parent volunteers.

The Dodgen collection supports the middle school curriculum for fun, facts, and fiction. In addition to over 18,000 books, we receive two daily newspapers, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Marietta Daily Journal, and subscribe to over 25 magazines.

An expanding collection of DVDs, video tapes, closed circuit TV, and access to selected cable channels supplement the teacher's resources for the classroom. Computers within the Media Center are available throughout the day for students doing on-line research, taking an AR quiz, utilizing one of the software programs such as Timeliner or Word, or just looking for a book in the Destiny web-based card catalog system. Teachers may bring their entire class to the Media Center or give signed permission to individual students to come in on their own.

Early morning passes (8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.) are given by request the day before only by the Media Center.
