Anchor/Reporter Script:
Good morning, East Side! My name is ____________________________, and today is ____________________.
(pause here for a count of 5)
We have an exciting show for you today. After the Pledge, we have a character education skit, a visit with Chef Bob, and our very first Tiger TV segment. Tiger TV is new this year. Each week, we will bring you a news story from somewhere at East Side. It could be a special class event, an interview with a teacher, or any other newsworthy item that you -- the audience -- tell us about! Now, please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and remain standing for the patriotic song....
Chef Bob Script:
Hello, all you tigers out there at East Side! I'm Chef Bob, and just in case you're new, I'll be bringing you the lunch menu every Friday. Today for lunch we are having either fried worms or green eggs and ham. You're choices of sides are watered-down cabbage soup, "giant" peaches, snozzcucumbers, and zucchini. And, I wouldn't ever even think of skipping dessert! Today's dessert is Chocolate Frogs! O.K., O.K., that's not really the lunch menu... It's really just some of the food in books that I read over the summer. Do you recognize any of the books?
