Dear Faculty, Students and Parents:

December's Principal's Book of the Month is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson. This hilariously outrageous book captures the spirit of the holidays and leaves you thinking about kids that you know or have grown up with. We can all related to a Herdman.

The book's main characters are the Herdman's; a family of kids that are described as "absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world". These kids decided that they want to be in the town's Christmas pageant. What occurs next will leave you laughing and crying. Oce the story begins, it will be hard to stop reading before the finale. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever shows all of us how relevant and practical a group of kids can rewrite the Christmas story.

I hope that you enjoy The Best Christmas Pageant Ever as much as I did. I enjoyed reading this with my children and stopping to explain the different reactions from the Herdman's. I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday.
