We are so excited to have your children in our After School Program! Highlights of ASP include playing outside, weekly computer time for 2nd-5th grades, daily homework time for 2nd - 5th grades, organized games, movie day a fun time with friends and a wonderful ASP staff! We look forward to a safe and fun year in ASP.

ASP Hours and Fees
Registration fee is $10.00 per child, paid one time each year.
Daily fee is $7.00.
ASP hours: 2:30 - 6:00
Conference week and Early Dismissal hours: 12:30 - 6:00

It is very important that you pick your child up by 6:00 PM.
A late fee of $1.00 per minute is charged after 6:00 PM.

Medication Policy
ASP can only administer prescription medications that are requirred during ASP hours. We do not administer ouver the counter medications during ASP. Should your child become ill enough to require over the counter medications, we will contact you to pick up your child from ASP. An "Authorization to Give Medication at School" form must be on file before any medication can be administered during ASP hours.

General Information About ASP
> Adult to student ratio is 15:1.
> Snacks are given to every student each day in ASP. Students may bring snacks from home, too.
> We have a closet full of games, jump ropes, balls, etc., so we request that NO personal games, balls, stuffed animals, etc. are brought to ASP.
> We ask that parents do not call to talk to their child when they are attending ASP. We will gladly relay a message from you to your child.
> Fridays are declared as movie days. During our movie time, 2nd-5th graders can buy a soda for 65 cents.
> If you child would like to go home with a friend, please arrange this in the morning and send a note to the teacher and to ASP.
> Kid Chess is offered on Fridays from 2:30 - 3:30. A second session is held from 3:35 - 4:35. Log onto www.kidchess.com for more information regarding Kid Chess.
> Technology classes are offered on Mondays from 2:30 - 3:30 in the computer lab. For more information about Computer Explorers, call 678-354-7894.

Homework/Study Hall is offered to 2nd - 5th graders Monday through Thursday.
> 2nd and 3rd grades have homework time from 4:00 - 4:45.
> 4th and 5th grades have homework time from 3:15 - 4:00.
> All students in 2nd-5th grades are expected to work on their homework during this time. If the students do not have homework, they can read a book from home or write a letter and make use of our Keheley Postal Express service.
> ASP workers walk around during homework time and help students as much as possible. We ask that parents check their child's homework when he/she arrives home to ensure that the homework is completed and correct. Thank you.
