The Career and Technical Department strongly recommends that students pursue both a College Preparatory and Career and Technical Education Diploma.

To earn a Career and Technical Diploma or a College Preparatory with a dual C/T seal, a student must take a minimum of 3 units from one of the C/T pathways outlined on the Career Paths page plus an additional unit from any C/T courses.

If students do not have room in their schedule to earn both diplomas, we recommend they explore the C/T courses by taking as many as possible. All of these courses can help students to prepare for a future in the working world. The ultimate goal after high school and/or college will be to obtain a job that will bring satisfaction as well as the income needed to support oneself. Career and Technical education at Kell High is one avenue to achieve
this goal. Enroll in Real Classes to prepare for Real Life!
