"I have really enjoyed the fitness workouts with the boot camp. The comradery and support from the group members is wonderful. I consider myself a fairly active person, I'm a martial artist and wouldworkout occaisionally, but after a few of the boot camp sessions I knew I was moving to a different level. Through the boot camp I have increased my endurance, stamina and strength which has assisted me in my martial arts practice. I've also changed my eating habits and as a result, i have lost several pounds and inches. Now my clothes fit differently and I feel different. After the morning workouts, I feel energized, I'm not lethargic, slow or become easily winded. Finally i find it easier to get a good night sleep. I know I still have a journey ahead of me, but I am enjoying every step of the way."- Mr. Nelson

"I have been participating in Coach Melvin's boot camp since it started, and it has helped me out in many ways, both physically and emotionally. My initial reason for getting involved in Dana's program was to keep my bone density status quo, as I have not been conscientious about my calcium intake over the years and my density is not as it should be. My second reason was to get in shape.

After my first week of boot camp I have gained much more energy on a daily basis, and I feel more focused in all aspects of my life. This feeling in ongoing, as the program has continued. A month after the program began, I went for my yearly check-up, my doctor reported that all my blood levels are just as they should be, which was different from the last blood work-up I have previously had. I am hoping my bone density turns out well nest February.

Physically, I feel better and have physically toned up as I have wanted to. I am thrilled Coach melvin continues this program for all involved, as we are not the only working to improve ourselves, but have become a family of sorts, who look after one another and support each other. It has been a wonderful experience on many different levels, and I will be involved in this program for as long as it is around." - Mrs. Pappanduros

Just last week, I was able to run a mile nonstop- which I have never been able to do before without practically falling over! "Coach Melvin's boot camp has been a huge success! I have been involved with the "early birds" since day one and personally, it has helped me tremendously. I never imagined I would be running at all in my life, but Coach Melvin has given me the desire to take care of myself better and now I am running 3-4 miles 4-5 times a week.
