ATTENDANCE AND MAKE-UP POLICY:

A student who is present and actively participates is more likely to be successful; however, if a student is absent, he/she is responsible for locating their make-up work in the designated folder and turn the assignment.  All excused absences must have test, class work and homework must be completed by the 5th day after the absence.

LATE WORK POLICY:

Work deadline dates are given on most work assignments.  All class work, homework, and projects must be turned in on time and/or by the due date. Any class work, homework or projects that must be late should have the teacher approval first before submitting any late work.

HOMEWORK:

All homework is due at the beginning of the class period regardless.  The teacher does not have to ask for the homework.  The homework assignment should be placed in the designated homework basket.

TARDY POLICY:

To avoid being counted tardy, students must be seated and ready for class when the bell rings.  If a student arrives tardy he/she must sign-in on the clipboard located on the teacher desk and proceed to their assigned seat. Telephone calls home will occur after the 5th tardy and in accordance with the school policy. Unacceptable behavior will result in detention.
