My name is Veronica Gardner, and I’m looking forward to working with your child this school year. This will be my fourth year at Kemp, and I am so excited to be in such a wonderful school. I look forward to helping your child grow this year.
The fourth grade year is filled with lots of new learning material. Please check your child’s agenda daily for assignments and daily reflections. They will usually receive homework every night except for Friday. Students have been asked to get a parent signature daily to note that the homework has been completed, and placed somewhere for a safe return. All students are asked to read for 20 minutes daily, and a parent signature also says that this reading has been done.
I believe that an open line of communication is important for your child’s success. With such a great group of kids, I can already tell that this year will be a year to remember.
