KATHY COX VISITS KEMP
Georgia Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox arrived at Kemp Elementary on Monday October 29th via helicopter and led the students and staff in a pep rally.

Kemp SIP Goals 2007-2008

Students will continue to improve, extend, and refine writing skills through content writing assignments.
Students will improve math skills in the areas of math computation and problem solving.
The staff will collaborate to implement Learning Focused Strategies.

Thank you to Paige Bastuba, Laura Fieldler and Adam Hill for all of the hard work, extra time and skills to coach the Kemp Odyssey of the Mind Team at state competition last weekend. The students did an outstanding performance.

Field Day is approaching fast! This year’s dates are May 12th, May 14th, and May 16th. You will have the option of purchasing a field day t-shirt again this year. We have selected a new design and each class in every grade level will have a different color shirt with the same design. All T-shirts are $5.00 each. (Shirts are made by Gildan and are 100% Cotton).
