Fourth Grade |

are nearing the completion of their Literature Web as they
continue to
explore a variety of genres and authors. They will
read a Newbery Award Book,
informational text, historical fiction, etc. |

In
preparation for the upcoming CRCT assessment, each 4th
grade class will be participating in the Ultimate
Expedition! Groups of students will be using a
variety of reference resources to research the world and
complete a series of challenges! |

Fifth Grade |
 |
Our
projects are complete! Each fifth
grade student produced a
segment for Black History Month that will feature a famous African-American
figure. All of the segments will be broadcast on Cougar Cable
News or the Kemp Elementary Electronic Bulletin Board during the month of
February and extending into March. Please stop by the school and watch our daily broadcast of CCN News or visit throughout the day to view the segments on
the school's electronic bulletin board! |
