Important Info

Welcome to your new first grade class! There are just a few things that you need to know starting the first day of school.

Snack: We will have a snack time each day. If you wish for your child to have a snack, you must provide one. I will not provide snacks. Please remember that there will be NO CANDY OR DRINKS allowed for snack.

Money: Put all money in an envelope and LABLE it with the PURPOSE (lunch, ASP, etc.), your child’s FIRST AND LAST NAME, and my name. All money is required to be put in one of the collection boxes in the hallway. I will show your child where the boxes are in the halls.

Newsletters: I will periodically send home newsletters to inform you of what is going on in the classroom. They will also be posted on our class website.

Dismissal Changes: If for any reason your child will be going home a different way than their usual mode of transportation, YOU MUST SEND A NOTE IN WRITING. If no note is sent, your child will go home their usual way. If in doubt, send a note. THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD IS THE MOST IMPORTANT!

Lunch Prices: Lunch will cost $1.60 for your child. If you choose to have lunch at school, the cost is $2.50. Children needing only a drink will have to pay $0.50. The lunch account needs to be PRE-PAID.

After School Program: The cost of ASP is $7.00 per day per student. There is also a $10.00 registration fee. ASP is a PRE-PAID program.

It is going to be a great year in first grade! I can’t wait to see those smiling faces on the first day of school!
