Welcome
to kindergarten! I look forward to a
great year! My name is Mrs. Bobbie
Miller. This begins my 23rd year of
teaching. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree
in early childhood education. I
received my Master’s Degree in early childhood education from Georgia State
University.
The
paraprofessional in our classroom is Pam Brown. Mrs. Brown has fourteen years of experience working with children
ranging from Pre-K through fifth grade.
I have had the privilege of working with Mrs. Brown for the last four
years and look forward to another great year!
Our
room number is 107. School begins at
7:45 AM and is dismissed at 2:15 PM. I
will communicate with you often.
Please be sure to check your child’s take home folder every night. If you have any questions, please send a
note to school in the folder and I will answer you promptly. If you call the school, I will be given a
message and will respond as quickly as possible. If I don’t get back to you during planning time, I will call you
after school is dismissed. I cannot
leave my students to make phone calls during the day. You may also contact me during the day using my school email,
which is bobbie.miller@cobbk12.org. I do check my emails during the day and will
try to answer any concerns you may have.
I also check my school email at home in the evenings, so you may email
me after school hours.
The
first few days of kindergarten will take some adjustments by everyone. After that adjustment time, you will be
amazed at what your child will be doing.
I will be using volunteer help in the classroom too; however, I wait a
few weeks before I ask you to join the classroom. I need that time to get routines established. We are going to have an exciting year!
Sincerely,
Bobbie
Miller
