First Grade

Work together with your grade level group to explore sites about the Georgia Performance Standards and answer the following questions.   

1. Find an essential question for a Language Arts standard.

2. True or false: Teachers will need to repeatedly unpack standards in order to plan quality units of instruction.  Write the answer down to share with the group.

3. Find the GPS templates for unpacking a Language Arts standard.

4. Log in to Picasso and look at a teacher created unit from the Language Arts 05-06 Curriculum Standards.
