Middle School
Transition
Fifth grade is an exciting
time, yet can produce many feelings of anxiety knowing that middle school
is just around the corner.
The fifth grade students will be involved in a variety of transitional
activities this year. They will attend
an assembly to meet their sixth grade counselor and hear from actual middle school students. A
field trip to Lost Mountain Middle School (LMMS) will be scheduled in the
spring. Mrs. Briggs will be conducting
various guidance lessons about middle school. Additionally, there
will be a parent meeting at LMMS
for the rising sixth grade parents. Look for specific dates to come!
