I’m Jeff Thoroughman, and this is my first year teaching at Kemp. I’ve heard many great things about the school, its students, parents, administration, and staff. I’m very happy to be here, and I look forward to a fun and productive school year.
I’ve been a teacher in Georgia for the past eighteen years, including ten with Cobb County. I have also taught in the DeKalb, Gwinnett, and Newton systems. Most of my experience has been teaching in fourth and fifth grade, but I also have taught special education and a year of high school.

This web page has several purposes. Information about the class and school will be available through a newsletter, calendar, schedule, class list, lunch menu, etc. An updated list of useful web sites involving elements of the curriculum will also be included for each subject. There will also be a class blog used for student comments and questions.
