Class of 2008
Yearbook Policies
Content:
The purpose of the 2008 Equus is to inform, entertain, and provide a historical record of the school year. Coverage will include student life, academics, people, clubs, sports, and the Kennesaw Mountain community.
The staff encourages constructive criticism and suggestions before, during and after publication, but reserves the right as the final authority for the content of the yearbook. Purchasing a yearbook does not entitle the purchaser to any guarantees or rights regarding the book's content.
Seniors:
Deadline for Senior
pictures is Thursday, August 30, 2007 from 11:45 am
- 8:00 pm in the theater lobby. See Mr. Mixon in
room 208 for details. Also, you can call Lifetouch for an appointment: 678-569-1315.
Portraits:
Lifetouch, our official school photographer, will make all portrait pictures of students and school employees to ensure the highest quality of reproduction. No portraits taken by other photographers will be included in the yearbook.
At least two opportunities will be provided for all students and employees to have their photos taken. Students and staff should listen to announcements and look for posted signs advertising picture days.
The staff reserves the right not to include portrait pictures that do not meet their specifications.
Sales/Refunds:
Yearbooks will be sold beginning in September via homeroom. Students will order their yearbook from their homeroom teacher and Jostens will bill you for this amount. Please make sure that you have paid the amount indicated on your invoice by the appropriate due dates. The cost of the yearbook is $80.00.
Students who do not purchase a book prior to January
31, 2008, will not be guaranteed receipt of a book. A small number of books may be available in
April 2008, at a cost of $100.00 per book (cash only).
Students must show sales receipt and/or cancelled check as well as picture identification in order to receive a book. No student may pick up another student’s yearbook.
Prior to distribution, refunds for books will only be given to students who withdraw from school. Proof of withdrawal will be required.
Exchanges can be made for books with minor printing flaws if and only if no writing has been done inside the book. If the book is written in, no exchange will be made unless the adviser feels the flaws in the book warrant the exchange.
The yearbook is a student production. Satisfaction is not guaranteed to the purchaser. Refunds will not be given for errors such as poor picture quality, misspelled names, misidentified or missing portraits, etc. |
