Students must pass all 5 sections of the
Georgia High School Graduation (GHSGT) test to receive a Georgia
high school diploma. The content areas which require a passing
score of 500 are:
- English/Language Arts
Mathematics
- Science
- Social Studies
- Writing
Students are given the GHSGT initially in
eleventh grade. Additional opportunities to pass these exams will
be given the following summer, fall, winter, and spring.
