Graduation Testing

Graduation Testing Dates: 2007-2008

September 10-12	Subject Area Retest
September 26	Writing Test
October 29-31	Subject Area Retest
February 27	Writing Retest
March 24-28	Subject Area Test

Students must pass all 5 sections of the Georgia High School Graduation (GHSGT) test to receive a Georgia high school diploma. The content areas which require a passing score of 500 are:

English/Language Arts
Science
Social Studies
Writing

Students are given the GHSGT initially in eleventh grade. Additional opportunities to pass these exams will be given the following summer, fall, winter, and spring.
