Weight Training is a wonderful class offered at Kennesaw Mountain that is unlike any other offered-even other physical education classes. This class is for students that want to achieve not only in athletics, but to learn how to workout in order to take life lessons with them about how to live a healthy lifestyle. Weight training is a key component to physical fitness. So, yes this class is for athletes; however, this class is also for young men and women that enjoy strength gains, cardiovascular endurance, speed and agility improvement, body control, balance, flexibility and confidence-just to name a few! This class is definitely what you make of it and opportunities for improvement are endless.

"If you train hard you'll be hard and you'll be hard to beat!" Hershel Walker said it best and we believe in hard work at Kennesaw Mountain. Hard to beat doesn't mean just in sports, but the challenges of weight training prepare you to face life's obstacles with diligence and tenacity.
