Favorite Educational Quote or Philosophy:

“Make learning meaningful” would be my message as to what is important for us to do as educators. If students can find meaning and purpose in what they are learning, they will buy into the educational process. In order to learn, children must have ownership and be able to determine a real life situation for each learning opportunity. It is a teacher’s responsibility to make sure that students see validity in the learning process. If we can do that with each child, our goal of producing life-long learners can be achieved.
