CRCT Summer School is @ McCleskey.

Summer school begins June 4 and ends June 26.  The reading test date is June 25.  The Math test is June 26.  Make-up for both tests is June 27.  Students who take the retest ONLY do so on June 27.

Parents or guardians whose child misses the retest must make a written appeal to be allowed to take the test at another date at the Home School site.  Requests due to vacation are not honored.

Middle School to High School Transition Activities 
 

February 11-15 High School Registration

During this time period registration forms are distributed to all 8th grade students. Eighth grade teachers make recommendations for core classes.  
 

February 18-21 Students take registration forms home and with guidance from their parents they choose elective classes based on personal interest and abilities. 
 

Wednesday, February 20

9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. McCleskey students in Kell district go to Kell for a tour and brief orientation

9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. Sprayberry students and counselor visit McCleskey students in SHS district 
 

Thursday, February 21 "Prospective Kell Students"

6:00 p.m. "Welcome to High School" at Kell which includes Tours, Curriculum Fair, and Club Fair

7:00 p.m. General Meeting in Auditorium at Kell 
 

Thursday, February 21 "Prospective Sprayberry Students"

6:30 p.m. Gifted Parent Meeting at Sprayberry in the Media Center

7:00 p.m. 8th Grade Parent Night at Sprayberry in the Gym 
 

Friday, February 22 Kell Counselor available, by appointment only, to meet with parents to answer registration questions 
 

Friday, February 22 Sprayberry Counselor at McCleskey for Parent Questions
