The Marietta/Cobb
Driver’s Education Program is a joint program of the Marietta
and Cobb County School Systems. This program is licensed by the
Georgia Department of Driver Services and includes 30 hours of
classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.
Behind-the-wheel instruction is individual instruction in a
specially equipped car. This program meets the requirements for
Joshua’s Law, and qualifies for the Teen Driver’s Education
insurance discount.
Students must have
a valid Georgia permit or license before they begin the six-hour
behind-the-wheel portion of the course, but they can enroll in
the classroom portion before they have a permit.
The cost of the program for the 2007-2008 school year is $350.00
