Currently, four Speech & Language Pathologists enhance the communication skills of students at Murdock Elementary School.  We work closely with the classroom teachers to promote students' communication skills.  Communicating includes clear, fluent speech with appropriate language skills. A student with communication problems may receive services from a Speech & Language pathologist. An Individual Education Plan must be completed before the student can receive services.

Below are some web sites that will answer questions about Individual Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Individual Education Plan (IEP), language development and stuttering.  There are also some activities to develop language skills in your child at home.  ENJOY!
