Oakwood High School is Cobb County's "First Choice for Second Chances" and exists to offer a unique high school program, which provides opportunities for success and a quality education for all.  The highly qualified and supportive staff seeks to establish an environment that fosters academic achievement, social growth, and individual responsibility.  We strive to make a difference in the lives of all who choose to attend Oakwood.

Oakwood Open Campus High School adheres to the philosophy of the Cobb County School System that "every student is a person of worth and dignity and should receive his/her educational experiences in a humane environment that reflects this belief."  Through the supportive attitude of the professional qualified staff, the environment at Oakwood Open Campus High School is a program that fosters both knowledge and individual worth.
