Dear Parents of Junior students,
We are the sponsors of the Junior delegates who help to bring prom to your student’s high school. We would like to get the message out to this year’s juniors about junior dues. Any junior or senior that would like to attend prom must pay his or her dues. Dues are much cheaper at the beginning of the year, and the cost increases as the year goes on. Students who pay their dues their junior year will not have to pay dues again to attend prom during their senior year as well. We STRONGLY encourage students to pay their dues early in order to pay a minimal amount. The following due schedule has been posted up in the school and been on the announcements since the beginning of October. They are ultimately responsible for getting their dues in BY the date for the lower price.
If your junior pays by
Oct 15 they will only have to pay 75$
Oct. 31st they will only have to pay 85$
November 30th they will only have to pay 95$
December 22nd they will have to pay 105$
January 31st they will have to pay 115$
February 28th they will have to pay 125$
March 31st they will have to pay 135$
April 30th they will have to pay 145$
Dues are a onetime fee that help offset the cost of the venue, the decorations, the refreshments, and the entertainment for prom. Any money leftover from the dues will follow your students to their senior class and be part of funds that they can use their senior year.
Paying dues now is much cheaper even if your junior does not plan to attend prom this year but plans to attend prom next year. Seniors that wish to attend prom that have not paid dues yet will have to pay 145$ if they plan to attend prom.
We will send out information about date tickets in early spring.
All juniors can pay their dues to Mr. Brian Nelson in room 914 before school or after school. Checks should be written out to Osborne High School.
We look forward to a great prom with your students.
Sincerely,
Ms. Jeannie Robertson and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson
