Book Review & Book Poster Contest

This contest is open to all currently enrolled Osborne High School students and is sponsored by a grant from Walton Communities.

1. Each student may enter a maximum of one book review and one book promotion poster per week using the Georgia Peach Teen Award nominee books. Most titles are available for checkout in the Media Center . See the OHS Media Center Webpage for a complete book list.
2. Students must submit a typewritten book review following the format indicated on the media center Webpage.

1. Book review content must be suitable for publication on the school Webpage.
2. Each entry must be submitted by noon on Tuesday (dates indicated below) to be entered in the weekly drawing.
3. The winner will be drawn from the accumulated entries.
4. The winner will receive a $20 gift card for Borders Books.
5. Students are eligible to win only one gift card for the entire contest and one grand prize.

Book Promotion Posters

1. Posters must be 17” wide X 22” high and must be in a vertical format.
2. All posters must include the book title and author and art that represents the book.
3. Content must be appropriate for school display.
4. Posters may be displayed at school and each submission must include a permission slip signed by the student and a parent or guardian.

Grand Prizes

On April 11 th we will award a grand prize of a $40 gift card for the best book review and for the best poster as selected by the media staff. Thanks to Walton Communities for funding this project.
