I was born in Oklahoma, but spent most of my childhood years being raised in Clemson, South Carolina. I graduated from D.W. Daniel High School in 1996. After deciding I was not meant to be a Georgia Bulldog, I transferred to Clemson University and graduated in 2000 (B.A. Secondary Education: Psychology and Sociology). GO TIGERS!! I moved to California after graduation and taught in Pasadena (home of the Rose Bowl) at Wilson Middle School. I loved the west coast but missed being close to family and friends. I decided to make another big move...this time to Atlanta, Georgia. This is my fifth year teaching at Pebblebrook High School. I have taught sociology, world geography, and world history. I am currently the Sponsor for Beta Club and Falcon Frenzy (our school pep club), and I am the assistant coach for softball and girls' track. I received my Master's Degree in School Library Media in May 2006 from the University of West Georgia.
