Mrs. Sherri Hill

Mrs. Hill
has been at Pitner since its doors opened in 2003. She came
to the school as the Instructional Lead Teacher, moved into an Assistant Principal
position and was named principal in 2008. She began her teaching
career in 1993 teaching a 9th grade class in the
suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, her hometown. Then she spent
the next four years in the Washington, D.C. area where she
taught grades 4-6, served as a Curriculum Specialist and
Staff Development trainer. Mrs. Hill received her
undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee
State University in Nashville, TN; her Master’s degree in
Curriculum and Instruction from Coppin State College in
Baltimore, MD; and her Specialist degree in Administration
and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in
Harrogate, TN. She has been married to her college
sweetheart, Rod, since 1997 and they have 3 daughters,
Sheridan, Brooklyn and Jillian. |

Mrs. Debbie Blake

|
This is Mrs. Blake's
second year at Pitner Elementary and her 16th year as
an educator. She grew up in Michigan and began her career
teaching in
the Detroit Public School System. After moving to Georgia, Mrs. Blake
taught at Baker Elementary and later worked as an Instructional Lead Teacher
and a Technology Integration Specialist before beginning her career
in leadership.
Mrs. Blake received a B.S. in Education from Wayne State University
in Detroit, and her Master's and Education Specialist Degrees in Early Childhood from Georgia State
University. Mrs. Blake is married and has a baby daughter.
In her spare time she enjoys reading and playing tennis. |
