BOOKS AND
SUPPLIES
Textbooks for the children are provided
through county and state funds and
without cost to the child's parents or
guardians. In compliance with the textbook
policy, all charges for lost or damaged
textbooks must be paid in order to issue
replacements.
All
textbooks issued to children will be their
responsibility should the books be
lost, damaged or stolen.
HOMEWORK
Homework is additional needed preparation
assigned or suggested by the teacher which
is completed during non-class time. The
purpose of homework is to help the child
gain self-discipline, develop good work
habits, enhance and extend his school
experience and practice development of
skills.
MAKE-UP
WORK
Neither class work nor homework assignments
will be sent home when a child is absent
only one day. The work can be made up when
the child returns to school. Work
assignments for all students absent more
than two days may be picked up in the office
after 2:30 pm if prior request is received
before 10:00 am and if the absence is due to
illness or other excused absence.
