Compass Learning Lab

        

Riverside has three computer labs. Students come to the labs once a week. K-5th grade rotate on a weekly schedule. The computer labs consist of about 80 Dell computers, 2 Lexmark laser color printers, and 2 HP LaserJet printers.

Lab number one is used for research and test taking.

Lab number two is used for accelerated reading.

Lab number three is used for Compass Learning, which consist of math, reading, language mechanics, integrated language arts, and assessment tests to enhance and reinforce what is taught in the classroom.

Students learn to use the following programs
Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and HyperStudio etc.
