Cherri Esezobor

Notes from the Nurse

Greetings Riverside parents, my name is Cherri Esezobor (Ms. Cherri) and I am the school nurse. School has gotten off to a great start and I am here to assist with keeping

Riverside a safe and healthy community for our students, staff, and visitors.  With that In mind parents please remind your child or children to wash their hands after using the bathroom, coughing or sneezing, wiping their nose, and after going outdoors and coming back indoors.  Hand washing is our first line of defense in fighting the spread of many germs and infections.  Parents please remember all medications must be brought to the clinic by an adult and not sent to school in the child’s back pack also an authorization for medication to be taken at school must be completed and signed by the parent (this includes over the counter meds and prescription meds).  Students at the elementary level may not carry medications but middle school and high school may carry certain medications with written consent and the form can be picked up from any school nurse’s office.  All guidelines for medication are found in the parent information guide and on the Cobb County School District Web site under Board Policies in the J student section.  If you have any questions please feel free to stop by my office.  I also have a copy of Guidelines for Medication Administration at School if anyone would like a copy.  Let’s have a great year and please stop by my office anytime with questions or concerns.
