Dear Parents,

We are looking forward to seeing your child in 2nd grade.  To help with your Back-To-School shopping, we have compiled a list of optional supplies your child may use this coming school year.  Some supplies may become "community" to be used by the classroom - as needed:

3 12 pk #2 pencils                     Crayola markers

Fiskar scissors                            ruler (cm/in)

Colored pencils                          Crayola crayons (no more than 64)

Elmer’s glue                               pencil sharpener that holds shavings

4 highlighters                                      2 spiral wide-ruled 120 page

4 large glue sticks                                notebooks

Expo Dry Erase Markers              2 sturdy plastic 2 bottom

Ziploc bags - Gallon                                       pocket folders – no prongs

1 composition book (Black &       2 pks pencil top erasers

          White)                             3 boxes Kleenex

1 Clorox Wipes                          

2 green 2 pocket folders – no prongs (for Tuesday take-home folders)

Rocky Mount agenda (can be purchased through PTA)

Please bring supplies to Sneak-A-Peek on Friday,

August 8^th.

Please replenish as needed.

We have found some items to be unnecessary and distracting for second grade students.  We would prefer they not bring the following to school:

Trapper Keepers                                  pencil boxes
