Read Across America Day March 2, 2007
During Read Across America day, we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss and the importance of reading.
We would like to thank Target for the delicious birthday cupcakes and for taking time to read to our classes!
We also had a door decorating contest. Each class decorated their door to illustrate their favorite Dr. Seuss book. To see the doors click here.
At the end of the day, we had a balloon release. The students described their favorite book on a card and released it with their balloon. We hope that some of the cards to returned so that we learn about other favorite books! To see our balloon release click here!
