BeliefsWe believe: Sanders Elementary will create an atmosphere conducive to maximum learning through utilizing the best possible settings, highly qualified professionals, and community leadership. Sanders staff will recognize the developmental stages of individual students, assess their needs and thereby provide them with experiences of success and accomplishments that will aid in developing self discipline and a positive self concept. All students should be provided an equal opportunity to achieve their individual maximum potential. All students shall be prepared in problem solving to deal with social and academic situations in a changing world. The administrators, teachers, parents, and students should provide continuous evaluation of the learning program and needs of the school. The staff, students and community should establish and monitor school-wide goals, revising and updating these as needed. The school should establish a continuous and sequential program to provide the emotional, social, physical, and academic success for each student. The staff should develop open communication with all segments of the community, establishing a sound basis for public confidence. The staff should provide positive citizenship experiences while respecting individual differences. The staff and parents should work cooperatively to provide a quality education for all students to become lifelong learners. |
