During periods of inclement weather, please make sure your child's teacher has a written explanation of what he/she should do in the event that school closes during the day. If school closes during the day, all students will be sent home on their regular bus or day care van unless other directions are given.  Children who live outside Sedalia Park's district or within 1/2 mile of school must be picked up out front. If schools closes during the day, there is no After School Program. We cannot hold students at school, nor can we call parents. Please make arrangements with a neighbor, family member, etc. 

 The decision to close Cobb County schools due to inclement weather is made by 6:00am and reported to local radio and television stations. Please do not call the school office!  Your children should attend school unless you have heard that all Cobb County schools have been closed.
